The cost of living crisis is leading to the sale of precious cars. A survey by Carmoola indicates that the escalating cost of living crisis is leading 17% of UK drivers to contemplate or actually sell their cars due to the cost of maintenance. Almost a third, or 29%, have decided to drive less in response to this crisis, potentially resulting in around 8 million cars being sold. The cost of key car-related necessities such as insurance, petrol, and diesel have significantly increased, which has contributed to the financial strain experienced by British motorists.
