Tesco to shut Express stores early for Euro 24 finals
Retail Gazette reports that Tesco will close its Express stores early on Sunday, 14 July, if England reach the Euro 2024 finals. Over 1,800 stores will shut at 7:30pm to allow employees to watch the match, while larger stores will already be closed before the 8pm kick-off. Tesco’s UK managing director Kevin Tindall expressed support for the team, stating the company wants colleagues to celebrate with family and friends.
