The UK’s night-time economy is facing a crisis, with 480 nightclubs closing since the pandemic, including 65 in the first half of this year. Additionally, pubs in England and Wales are closing at a rate of over 50 per month. Factors such as economic pressures, digital addiction, and changing social habits among Gen Z are contributing to the decline in night-time socialising.
