Pop-up clinic plan for more measles jabs

Pop-up vaccination clinics are being introduced in schools across the UK to address the growing risk of measles outbreaks. Clinics will provide vaccinations against measles, mumps, and rubella. Parents of children under 11 are being strongly encouraged to book appointments for their children to receive any missed vaccines, particularly in the West Midlands, where a surge in measles cases threatens to spread nationwide. The vaccination rate in England currently stands at 84.5 per cent, well below the recommended 95 per cent to prevent measles transmission.
