Health workers ‘face Covid PTSD’.

The Government is considering increased support for healthcare workers amid concerns of Covid-era “flashbacks” and PTSD. Health minister Stephen Kinnock agreed to discussions with Dr Peter Prinsley, who highlighted the mental health challenges faced by staff during a Commons session. Prinsley, MP for Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket, stressed the issue after speaking with a doctor who experienced high mortality rates in an intensive care unit.
