Aldi to create 5,500 new UK jobs this year

Aldi plans to create 5,500 new jobs this year, including store assistants, managers, and warehouse assistants, City A.M. writes. The supermarket chain is recruiting across its 11 regional distribution centers and aims to offer warehouse assistants a starting salary of £12 an hour. Additionally, Aldi intends to spend £550 million on opening new stores and upgrading existing ones.
