FCA Self-identifies as “ridiculous”.

Tory MPs have accused the financial services watchdog of putting women’s rights at risk by urging banks to collect staff data based on self-identified gender rather than biological sex. Some 40 MPs and peers have written to the Chancellor to say the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is taking an “activist approach” to diversity policies. The signatories, who include Liz Truss, Suella Braverman and Lee Anderson, say the FCA is promoting “pseudoscience and gender ideology” to the detriment of “science, reason and women’s rights”.
