US president Donald Trump has revealed he requested London mayor Sadiq Khan was not invited to a state banquet during his historic second state visit.
Speaking to reporters on his flight back to Washington on Air Force One from Britain, Mr Trump took aim at Sir Sadiq, labelling him as “among the worst mayors in the world”.
Trump also claimed crime in London was “through the roof” and labelled Sir Sadiq as a “disaster” on immigration policies.
He said he asked that Sir Sadiq not be invited to the state banquet or attend other events.
“I didn’t want him there,” the president told reporters. “I asked that he not be there.”
Trump continued: “He wanted to be there. As I understand it, I didn’t want it. I’ve not liked him for a long time.
He added: “I’ve not liked him for a long time. I have a certain pride in London, in the UK, my mother was born in Scotland, and when I see Mayor Khan do a bad job – the stabbings, the dirt and the filth – it’s not the same. I didn’t want him there.”
Hours before Trump arrived for his state visit Sir Sadiq had himself launched a series of attacks on the US President, who was on his way to Britain on board Air Force One.
Khan has overseen the massive deteriation of London over the past five years as place to live and place to visit. He has pushed the two-tier policing system which has seen law-abiding Londoners arrested for expressing opinions on X and facebook and Muslims go free for similar actions. He has pushed the racist agenda by favouring the Muslim agenda for religion and laws whilst victimising the native poulation. He will not last for a second term but Lodoners do have to turn out and vote.
Anyone who flies The St George flag is branded racist by him and his supporters. You could correctly say that his actions and policies led directly to the massive attendance at the Unite The Kingdom march in London last Saturday. In his mind a meeting of the “far right”. Khan, you caused this situation and have forced Londoners to take to the street to demonstrate.
He is openly dividing on of the greatest cities in the World. He should be ashamed of himself.
