University Prices Have To Go Up. Ex-ministers warn tuition fees must rise urgently. a group of former ministers and vice-chancellors warned the next UK government will have to urgently increase tuition fees or funding to prevent university bankruptcies within two years. They suggest annual increases of between £2,000 and £3,500 per student could stabilise the sector.
