Birmingham City’s stunning plans to build a new £3billion stadium will be supported by the creator of Peaky Blinders.
Club chiefs have revealed ambitious plans for a new 62.000 seater ground as the centrepiece of an incredible Birmingham Sports Quarter construction plan a mile from the club’s home of 119 years, St Andrews.
Birmingham owners Tom Brady and Tom Wagner have proposed plans for a new 62,000-seater stadium. The scheme, dubbed the “Wembley of the Midlands”, will be designed by London-based architects Heatherwick Studio in partnership with Kansas-based company Manica.

“This stadium is a reflection of the past 150 years and hopefully it will be something that’s still around in 150 years from now.
