A study carried out by University of Dundee’s School of Medicine in collaboration with Helmholtz Munich and other international scientists reveals that aligning blood pressure medication intake with patients’ body clocks can reduce heart attack risks. The research involved over 5,000 participants and found that “morning larks” who took medication in the morning, and “night owls” who took it in the evening, were less likely to have a heart attack. However, patients should consult their doctors before changing medication routines.
