A financial luxury to have children

UK parents, particularly those with freelance jobs, are unable to cover their childcare costs. Research from the charity Pregnant Then Screwed indicates that a third more parents are unable to balance their income with childcare costs this year compared to the previous one, resulting in about 46% falling into debt or turning to their savings. This situation is pushing parents to seek regular employment with additional benefits while others have to consider quitting work.
