Aldi has been recognised as the UK’s cheapest supermarket of 2024 by Which?. The consumer watchdog found Lidl to be the second cheapest, while Waitrose was consistently the most expensive. Aldi also announced a record-breaking Christmas with sales reaching £1.6bn, attributed to increased shopper activity during the festive season.
