Popular filmmaker Jeff Baena has been found dead aged 47.
Baena was married to actress Aubrey Plaza in 2021, is best known for Indie movies such as Life After Beth, Joshy and The Little Hours.
He died on Friday, according to LA medical examiner records. LA cops and fire department reportedly received a call from Baena’s assistant from a house in the Los Angeles area at around 10:30am. Baena was pronounced dead at the scene.
Law enforcement told the outlet that they believe the director died by suicide. Plaza is quirky and interesting and different as this interview on Ellen shows. Time will reveal more but it is incredibly sad that this rich life has come to an end.
