Britons could soon face ‘lie detector’ tests in EU airports. 

British tourists may soon undergo ‘lie-detector’ tests when entering the EU countries. AI software is set to be utilised that analyses facial expressions and body movements. The system, which will be implemented in airports and ferry terminals, is part of the EU’s post-Brexit border tightening measures. German MEP Patrick Breyer criticised the technology as “pseudoscience”, suggesting it could discriminate against disabled individuals or those with anxious personalities.
