CBD products are ‘a waste of money’ .Popular cannabidiol (CBD) products may be harmful and ineffective, according to a study by scientists from the universities of Oxford, Bath and Alberta.
After analysing 16 clinical trials, they found that CBD was no more effective than a placebo in treating pain in 15 trials. The researchers also identified unregulated levels of CBD and the presence of illegal substances in some products. They urged consumers to be wary, given the products’ potential toxicity and the industry’s lack of regulation. CBD products are ‘a waste of money’ , best to go old skool.
