The Government has newly defined extremism in the Prevent strategy as:
“vocal or active opposition to fundamental British values, including democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of different faiths and beliefs.”
The Prevent strategy was published by The Governmant in 2006 to cope with fanatics arriving on our shores.
This is a recently up-dated definition of the term and illegal immigration has required it to be made.
We are beset by threats to our way of life. With many, many Muslims seeking to impose their ways and religious values on this country.
Government officials have drawn up deeply controversial proposals to broaden the definition of extremism to include anyone who “undermines” the country’s institutions and its values.
