Greggs is soaring and plans to open between 140 to 160 new shops in 2024 following a successful 2023 when a record 220 new shops opened. Full-year pre-tax profits rose 27% to £188.3m and market share reached an all-time high. Evening trade and delivery sales, boosted by partnerships with Just Eat and Uber Eats, also grew. CEO Roisin Currie expressed optimism and confidence in the firm’s growth strategy.
