Kellogg’s is contemplating the closure of its Trafford Park factory, which has operated since 1938, putting hundreds of jobs at risk. The breakfast cereal and snack company initiated a consultation with 360 staff to discuss potentially ceasing operations at the Greater Manchester site in 2026. Kellanova, Kellogg’s American owner, expressed uncertainty about the site’s long-term viability, citing challenges despite producing popular brands like Frosties, Corn Flakes, Rice Krispies, and Coco Pops mainly for British and Irish supermarkets.
