Nike partially wins three-stripe trademark battle against Adidas 

Nike has won a court ruling in Germany allowing it to use a three-stripe design on four of its trouser models. The ruling, from a second appeal hearing in a trademark lawsuit initiated by Adidas in 2022, overturns an initial ban on the use of two or three stripes on five of Nike’s designs. However, Nike is still prohibited from using the stripes on one trouser model.
