Not bought a house by age 35? You may as well give up hope.

A survey commissioned by Yorkshire Building Society reveals over half of non-homeowners aged 35 to 54 are uncertain about ever buying a home. The poll highlights that 58% of this age group feel discouraged, compared to 21% of 18 to 34-year-olds. Ben Merritt from Yorkshire Building Society described the results as “perhaps our most stark yet,” emphasising the need for industry players to provide hope to potential buyers.
