Scotland’s beaches

An online project documenting Scotland’s beaches, known as the Scottish Beach Project, has gained almost 10,000 followers worldwide, since being set up by a man who had intended to simply do some walking in Scotland. He estimates there are over 500 named beaches in Scotland and has visited 171 of them so far, documenting his travels with photographs and noting the diverse range of wildlife that he encounters. His project emphasizes the beauty and tranquility of Scotland’s coasts.
