Smoking-related cancers reach all-time high.

Smoking-related cancers have reached a record high of 160 new cases daily, according to Cancer Research UK. The charity’s analysis indicates a 17% rise in such cancers since 2003, with significant increases in liver, throat, and kidney cancers. Cancer Research UK is urging the Government to reintroduce the Tobacco and Vapes Bill, which would prohibit tobacco sales to individuals born after January 2009.
