Sir Keith Starmer refused to side with the EU in a trade war with the US after Donald Trump threatened to hit Brussels with trade levies “pretty soon”. The Prime Minister said choosing between the bloc and Washington was not an “either/or” question given the UK’s relations with both. It came after the US president warned Britain it had been “out of line” in its trade with his country and described the situation with the EU as “an atrocity”.
Starmer is a danger to the UK. We need America and for the special relationship to thrive.
