Ian Wright is one of the most likeable, informed, enthusiastic and fair football pundits currently working in broadcasting. Yet, even he can be vulnerable to vindictive and capricious comments made by colleagues or peers who have been given a platform to make them. Eni Aluko is not a great broadcaster and, if this carry-on is anything to go by, much less of a person. Sexism cannot be in the dock here and certainly nor can racism. Wright has not accepted her apology and you have to applaud that. She should never work as a football pundit again.
